oil pressure
Hey, i was wondering everyone's oil pressure. Mine's reading on the higher side of the "a" of normal section, obviously when i'm on highway. I realize it get's high, but how high is everyone's getting?

Like HIO said, hard to tell if it is really too high with the stock gauge. An aftermarket mechanical gauge can tell you with good accuracy. If you are worried, suggest you install one at least temporarily as a diagnostic. The low cost parts store mechanical type work fine. 50-60 psi would be about normal for a healthy engine on the highway. Over 70 psi would be unusual and maybe cause for concern.

You'll get variations with engine temperature, speed, & wear, and oil viscosity, but your description sounds similar to mine. If concerned, as suggested, add a calibrated gauge and compare to the engine's specs.
