Browsing for tires on Tire Rack and came across the Kumho Road Venture AT51. Attractive price and an attractive rebate right now. Does anyone here have any experience with Kumho or with this specific tire?

I had a set of their KR21's on my wife's Caddy SRX before we sold it. They were a good tire for us. Quite, long tread life, no complaints. Not sure how the KR21 tire compares with what you are considering.
Pirate, was your Kumho experience a positive one? What were the tires you had on what vehicle?
I have run them on a work truck and a old Mercedes and they served their purpose just fine. my primary consideration was they were inexpensive but they drove just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set.
My kid and a few of his friends have bought them for their tuner whips ( haha he would think I am lame for calling their cars that but I say it mockingly ) anyhow they buy them because they drive like idiots and do a lot of burn outs in parking lots and always seem to need new tires and , you guessed it. They are affordable.
Edit..... I do not recall which of their tire we had on the Mercedes , we had their all season on our little ranger truck.
Was looking at the 265/75/16 or possibly the 285/75/16. Not sure if the 285 would work with the stock wheels or not?
285/75-16 will work just fine on the stock EX rims, lots of members here run that size. And they may actually make your speedometer more accurate.
No experience here with any tires of that brand.
a 285/75/16 will fit fine on a 7.5 rim, they will be roughly an inch wider and an inch taller then the 265.
If those Kuhmos are the type of tread pattern you are looking for I don't see how you could go wrong at that price. I would verify that the rebate which is send "on a pre paid rebate card " is a visa debit card and not a tire rack gift card. The language on the rebate is vague.

Check the link for the redemption form. Looks like it is a VISA prepaid card.
