I posted this on the Super Duty forum with no responses so I thought I would try here.
My oil indicator is coming on for an oil change even though I only put 1800 miles since since last change. Now this change was in February and I did reset the indicator after that oil change.
Why would the indicator tell me my oil is due for a change even though it only has 1800 miles on the oil? Does it also take into consideration the amount of time on the oil? As you can see I'm only putting on 300 miles or so a month.
This is the second oil change I've done since owning the truck and it also did the exact same thing after the first change.
