Well I still have a knock and a miss, starts extremely hard now. Has been doing it lately. Can't figure it out. Have new injectors, orings, injector sleeves, glow plugs, glow plug relay, UVCH's and plugs, new ICP, IPR, and CPs sensors. New IDM. New fuel pump.
It cranks over a lot and smokes a lot of white while trying to fire on just a couple Pistons then will eventually take of. But ALOT of white and grey. I have quite a bit of blow by. I put a tube that points down instead of going into the intake. Pickup still will run fine sometimes but run rough randomly.
Does my fuel system lose its prime? I have stage 1.5 injectors. Do I need a bigger HPOP? I just can't stand this thing anymore. Any help is appreciated, thanks
I'd start with a compression test. Get back to is on your numbers. Do a hot test, and record your elevation from sea level as well.
If you have stage 1.5s did they come from rosewood? I'm not trying to poke but want to ask if they are singles and splits were not accidentally shipped or installed.
Do you have a bore scope?
Is the white smell like fuel? Does it dissapate as it warms up?
What oil are you running and how many miles on the block?
With all the parts you replaced are they oem or general parts store components.
Sounds like too much fuel, cracked tips or a severe miss fire. iDM a factory unit?
Was it doing this prior to all the work? Better or worse. Any oil in coolant or coolant in oil?
