There was a post...

And I have searched, and searched, and my browser must be handicrippled tonight or something, but I can't find it. It was about having oil in your air filter, adding some kinda oil catcher, and breathers to take care of a start-up smoking problem. Does anyone remember this post?

I just purchased an 81 Bronco with a 351M (I think, will know more tomorrow) that must have been pulled from a dumptruck, because it has a hydraulic pump on top of the engine. It smokes BAD on start-up, and has oil in the air cleaner body. The smoke does stop after running the engine a bit though.

I know it probably needs valve seals, I'll do a compression test over the weekend too.

Thanks, and sorry about the length. Just darned EXCITED over my first 4WD.
