I found gas in oil after getting off work. I knew that diaphram in mechanical fuel pump must have burst. I bought new fuel pump and drove home roughly a couple of miles. I turned engine off changed fuel pump and engine would not turn over. I'm wanting to know would it be just main or rod bearings or also rings ? I figure it seized when engine cooled down while putting on new fuel pump. Any hope of unsticking or is it a total rebuild or replace ? Just would like to know what is most likely seized ? Any help appreciated.....Thanks
I already tried that even removed starter in case started drive had gotten hung. Input in couple qts atf and marvel mystery oil and let set removed plugs squirt oil in cylinders. It wouldn't turn by breaker bar.
I would guess the bearings didn't have proper lubrication then overheated them causing damage. Unless you can drop the pan and sneak new bearings in which is pretty tough to do your going to have to pull it out. While it's out you might as well at least give it a quick hone if the cylinders aren't completely worn out and new rings.
