Going to dealership tomorrow to look at F350, CC, DRW 4X4, XLT.
6.0. I checked with the dealer, truck was "born on" 6/10. I've read so much on these boards about the 6.0, I'm a little worried. It is my understanding that 6.0's installed after a certain date (5/04?) have had most of the problems remedied. I'll be trading in my '00 X v10. I need a PU that will pull my 36' 5 wheel (14000).
Two questions:
Will this thing pull the trailer
Do you believe the major bugs have been exterminated?

I personally would wait for a 2004 (that would most likely require you to order one). I'm going Aug 2nd. myself to order a 2004 DRW with the 6.0L in it, and have some worries as well. But the 04's should be much better, and have most of the "glitches" worked out of them. The DRW should not be a problem hauling the 5th wheel.
MBN,
I agree, I'll think I'll either wait until the '04 comes out or I'llorder one. Salesman said he never had any problems with early 6.0. When I questioned him about bad injectors, he remembered a "few" that had come back in.
Thanks
