Several years ago a fella I knew (house painter by trade) was driving back to town during a tornado warning. He said it was really windy, but didn't realize there was a tornado lurking about because he didn't have the radio on. During one of the heavier gusts that he got shook with, he looked in his door mirror and could see his tools in the back of the truck were still there and ok. Only a few miles down the road he realized "HEY, I SHOULDN'T SEE MY TOOLS, I HAVE A CAMPER SHELL!" Needless to say, he survived the tornado unwittingly, but never did find his camper shell.
