Ok, it's almost ready for the road. Inner fenders cut for Volare suspension, and exposing my nice engine compartment to road grime.Now it's no show truck, but I do want to maintain cleanliness as much as I can. I don't plan for it to be every day driver, but a lot of days. I'm trying to decide how to cover those upper a arms in as reasonably attractive manner as possible. Rubber flaps? metal or fibreglass bubble? Anyone else come up with a good solution?

 

Rubber flaps. It'll look stock.

 

I saw a guy at a show that had cut his in a nice smooth arc. Then he had covered the raw edge with 3/8" fuel line that had been split up the side. It looked good If you are going silicon it it place, then black would not show up. Good luck, John

 

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I did cut them smooth and they look good, I just think I want to keep the debris out. I'll probably use the rubber, but I thought someone might have been more creative than I am and did something really cool. Thanks again.
