I hate messing with electrical problems. But here it is. My rear lights and reverse lights are not working. Brake lights are fine, turn signals and hazards fine. When I turn the lights on, I blow the 15 amp fuse every time. My headlights work just fine. All I really have to test with, is a test light. Other than that I'm clueless. The only things that I have done recently that could effect this, would be when I installed a new gas tank, and also an inline fuel filter that was fairly close to the electrical wires feeding the rear lights. Did I mention that I hate messing with electrical problems?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Oh, it's a 1983 Bronco.
No, it was not doing this prior to the gas tank. At least I'm 90% sure.
I suppose I could run a wire from the fuse box to one of the lights, and see if it works. My guess is that it has something to do with the gas tank replacement. Maybe a wire got messed up or I did not see a wire. Not sure.
Thanks
