They offered me the best price around, all complete, 4 dismounts, 4 mounts, 4 balance, 4 metal bolt-in stems, out the door!!
$818.00, +$50.00 rebate, =$768.00
Less sale of my original stock wheels -$600.00
I'll have $168.00 outlay in my new rims!
Literally selling the old rims right off the truck!
Great wheels in the dually configuration and you can't beat the price you're paying! Post pics when they're on.
Thanks! I know the store manager at my local store, I've bought LOTS of tires from him, his assistant manager did this transaction, and I couldn't believe the price either.......
The Eagle Alloys 058 wheel is very similar to the real Alcoa wheels that are commonly used on BIG trucks......I kind of wanted that look......
I asked the assistant mgr 4 times if he was 100% sure that everything was included at this price.....center caps, and lug nuts and all, he said absolutely yes each time, twice with the manager listening........
I think they're going to eat *&%# when they find out different......
I can't wait to get them on my truck!
Almost done with facelifting my L99 F350 CC XLT Dually.......
Did entire '07 front, '14 mirrors, '08up tail lights, rear bumper, and soon hopefully tailgate!
They look like the ones I have on BigRed ! Love the wheels except on the 4 wd I had problem with the front cover was attached with the lugs and I could not lock front hubs ! I drilled a hole in the cover to get a tool thru hole to lock and unlock hubs ! 2WD no problem. Also what you may want to do is get the ridged valve extensions for the dually because you gonna have a bitchen time putting air on the inside dual !And now is time to do it ! And get quality extensions !If you need info on tool let me know!
I bought them off of Fleabay ! I think they are the Eagles !Get those ridged valve extensions ! I went to a truck shop in Ocala Fl. and by the time they busted down all the wheels and added ext. it was $150. Gonna need them on fronts to!!
Those look GREAT!! I have been wanting the dual to single rear valve adaptor lines for a while, just couldn't figure out how to do it with the stock wheels and their caps.
Never heard from Discount tire, called on Wednesday, they said they'd get tracking numbers and find out where my wheels were......
Never got a return call Thursday or Friday, didn't worry much because I couldn't get there to get them mounted anyway....
I tried calling around 430 yesterday (Saturday 8/22) afternoon and kept getting the recording saying they were busy......
Monday morning at 8am there is a good chance their building won't have a roof when I call......
I think the kid assistant manager sold something he can't get......
that seems odd...I have bought ATV tires from these guys for years....never a problem getting them on the phone...sorry to hear about your hold up ....its not like them I can tell you that...
I agree, I have bought over 6 sets of tires from my local store, manager is very friendly and always hospitable -just think the young greenhorn may have been a little to gung-ho to take my order....though he did call somewhere and speak with a live person.....
