Help Hydroboost Replacement
Im in the middle of replacing the Hydro boost on my Excursion. I cannot get the nut off the unit where it comes in the through the firewall. Does anyone have any experience with removing this nut?

Mine does not have 4 bolts. It has one large nut with a snap ring the nut is about an 1"1/8. But I cannot loosen or get to it with a wrench or standard socket with the brake rod.

The HB has 4 bolts holding it to firewall. The rod is in middle and hooks to brake pedal.
You have to remove the 4 bolts and disconnect rod from pedal.
Give us the part # for the replacement HB unit so we can see what you are dealing with.
