Did You Know....

When I was looking at the window sticker for my truck(sent to me as the dealership searched for it), I noticed an unfamiliar option. I checked Ford's build site and I could not find anywhere to add it. I am not sure how/when it was added. Maybe it is something only the dealers can add? So here is a picture of the option...(please don't mind the bugs)

Yep engine block heater on 5.0 F-150. Did anyone know this was an available option??

I think I remember seeing that option. I'm in New Engkand so it's not needed. People in Canada or Alaska may though.

I'm not sure you can buy a truck up here WITHOUT that option.

LOL!!! When I lived in Minnesota, tank heaters were pretty much standard equipment.

Never thought about that, they did have to go to Minnesota to get it. Here in central IL the only place you see them are on diesels.

Every truck I looked at in Wisconsin had block heaters listed on the window sticker. Hit or miss in Illinois. If you order your truck from the factory it can be specified but is not listed on the Ford build and price web pages.
