Question California model

I have my 2002 f-250, and yesterday I noticed that I couldn't find my block heater plug. Did these models not have a heater installed. I know I dont need one here in Vegas, but I do a lot of traveling to Utah and colder areas. Can anyone confirm that they done have block heaters or do I need to look harder. Thanks

In this thread there is a picture of where the block heater starts, orange cord on the side of the oil filter:

In this picture is where my block heater comes out:

Not all trucks came with them. It's a factory option. Most diesels came with them since they were ordered that way, but not all of them. Read the link posted above and you'll know for sure if you have one.

My Cali has one installed. I'd have to check later to see if it was ordered that way or not.

I have heard that if the block heater was not ordered that it may have a block heater, just no cord.
