Old Forester

Any one have a older Forester? They were built in Forest City Ia. I worked at a RV dealership in the middle to late 70's. Those things were so well built. The dealership owner retired about the time the cars and trucks got smaller so he closed the shop. Wish I would have saved some of the literature from back in the day. Forester closed up and Winnebago that was across the road stay afloat. If you have one do you have any idea of the weight of them? We used to put hitches on big ole Impala's and LTD wagons and no one ever complained about pulling them. Back then a Ultra Lite was a lawn chair with wings and a snowmobile engine. I do have a Forest River Palomino and we like it but I still don't think the quality is what the old Foresters was.

LP tanks

Hey everyone 😊... Feeling better now that I know insurance coverage 100% - deductible 😊 on my truck.
Fuel company denied claim which doesn't surprise me about Murphy USA.
Anyways... I just wanted to let you know that you can get your propane tanks for a lot less $$$ by either calling or stopping in at Bottom Dollar Surplus in Bronson Michigan 12 miles west of I-69 on US #12 from coldwater Michigan.
Phone number is (517)369-9400 ask for Rick or Niki and tell them Smitty sent you 😉 also they're on eBay and have a store there!
You won't find anybody cheaper and if they don't have it... Chances are they don't make it at the RV manufacturers 👍

Here's a picture off of the net as I was interested in what these guys looked like.
I think the logo says Forester.
