Running Boards / Nerf Bars

Recently purchased a 2013 F350 King Ranch Crew with SRW. Truck did not have running boards or Nerf bars at the time of purchase. My wife is vertically challenged and I would like to add a step to keep her and the kids from killing the seats as they slide out. What aftermarket steps have you guys or gals used? Thank you for your input...

Hope I got this in the right spot, if not mods feel free to move it.. Thanks

Do you have a price range you want to stay within? I like my factory running boards, however I have read of some having problems with the stainless finish pitting or coming off.

If you want to go factory original boards I would give your local Craigslist a search. They can usually be picked up either second hand or as new take offs at a reasonable price. With the hardware they are pretty simple bolt in place items.

Sub $500 preferably. I have no issue at all with the factory ones I just haven't seen any on craigslist that I trusted.

Where are you located? Maybe somebody on here has some to get rid of.

Amazon has a wide assortment, most offering free shipping.
Amazon.com: 2013 f350 running boards

IN the past I have also ordered some off of Ebay and been very pleased.

Located close to Denton, Tx.

I know there are a ton of them out there, just hard to tell from pics and descriptions which ones are good quality and what is junk. Thought some of the guys on here might have put some aftermarket ones on and liked them... Truly like the AMP Research power step just don't want to drop that kind of coin...

I really like the ones from n-fab myself, but the factory ones are available from your dealer for less than you might think, and they're also very nice.

Go rhino, smitty built, Iron cross and Nfab make nice heavy duty offerings.

find style you like, then shop price. CAR ID has a ton on there site so it gives you a lot of choices to compare. then shop amazon, ebay ect.

I bought my Luverne stainless ones in 2002 and they still look fantastic - excellent quality:

I've had Westins on two different trucks. The powder coated ones rust out here in MI, so I stick with stainless. The 4 inch oval bars work great on my F250. Good prices through Auto Anything.com

I snagged a pair of the black plastic OEM ones from an up-fitter on craigslist. I paid 375 for the pair.
