I just travelled 1100kms to pick up another truck that cought my eye while travelling.
It's a 1971 F250 crewcab 4x4 short box 4 speed manual. The body is actually in great shape, some minimal rust and odd dents. It runs and drives great, has a 390 that is fairly new. Interior is rough at best but all there.
I'm just wondering what you guys think it's worth? I paid $2000 Canadian, I think I got a good deal because of how rare it is (correct?) what're you thoughts?
Sweet. I think that's a super deal for a 4x4 crew for $1524.62 (USD).
... and looking rather complete at that. I hear that Econolines can donate entire roofs of necessary.
How about more pics?!!!
Thanks, Im happy with it so far. It's been hand painted a few times from what I can see, and the interior will all need to be replaced. I don't have any other pictures right now. How would a roof from an econoline work on this truck?

I see rust flaring from the seams... grab the skin off an Econoline because finding a crew for a donor will likely be very difficult.
I'd love to have a crew... 2WD or 4WD... don't matter none.
Awesome, I'll have to keep an eye out for an econoline. This is my first pre 73 truck, all my other ones were 77-79
Other hard to find parts include the rear doors and everything that goes in and on them. Add a headliner to the list... but again, I'd look at Econolines for that possibility.
Post up a revival thread and keep us abreast of your Bumpside diamond... diamonds are harder to find than gold.
Nice score, I had to turn this down due to lack of room, yeah I know it's a Dodge. Have heard about using vans for body metal, just make sure you have help lifting the roof.
