Power fold mirrors

I have the power fold, power extend, and heated mirrors. Does anyone have a good place to get a new one? From FoMoCo is $1,200 for one. My power fold is now manual fold. I'm thinking my worm gear is worn out. I'm not too inclined to take it apart and do the JB weld fix but I might have too.

For 1200 bucks, what do you have to lose? Go to the write up and give it a try unless you still have a warranty.

Will your comprehensive insurance not cover the mirror cost?

I don't see why insurance would replace a piece of hardware that wore out.
Ford has replaced my driver side mirror twice from the motors failing.

Autonation is a start, I have purchased several OEM items from them. Still expensive for the mirrors though.

Try www.car-part.com. There's probably some totaled trucks in the salvage yards by now.
