Educate me: are people really stealing DEF? I mean, its like what, $22 for a couple of gallons that lasts a couple of thousand miles? Really?
Less about theft and more about vandalism. It seems there are people in this country that find it funny to pour random stuff in people's tanks.
A member here who lives in FL (I think Nipperdog) explained that to us a few years ago when he was waiting in a parking lot and he caught some kids attempting or maybe succeeding in pouring a soda in some guy's fuel tank.
That's a $9,000+ repair for us in the fuel system and about half that to repair the DEF system.
