Ended up with 27%, which is darkest legal in Colorado.
I'm happy!
I was going to suggest the maximum legal limit. Looks great!

The Northeast has some weird tint laws. Locally, there was a town that was targeting tinted windows for a revenue generator. That is until someone sued the town for the selected enforcement. One of my New York clients at work has a tint/ car audio shop as part of his business. He has in his showroom a disclaimer stating that tinting windows can be considered illegal and can be enforced with penalties. His shop is not going to be held liable for window tint infractions. Then you peruse his tint samples and catalog. I would think about doing the fronts but I also want to be able to see out the sides while towing... at night.

The same thing is going on here locally, selective enforcement...
Its no secret upstate NY is broke so they are beefing up enforcement on a lot of things like that...I have tinted covers on my license plates that got me pulled over at 2AM by NYSP.....Trolling for drunks is what they were doing at that hour..
I felt like asking "really guys, you got all the NYC ghetto rat drug dealers policed up so now you're banging on 49 year old truck drivers for license plate covers" ????????
Long Haul, yeah Binghamton is pretty sketchy. The company I work for has clients all over the Northeast. My boss and I did an install up there a couple of years ago. We watched a couple of kids kick the snot out of another kid on a porch near our customer. The guys at the shop said just don't get caught after dark in these parts. The make things more interesting, my boss lived in the area for awhile and knew all about the sketchy things that went on. The best part, I will there tomorrow yeah me!
Speaking of my auto shop client, I just spoke with him this afternoon about a follow up inquiry. He was pretty much next time bring your truck out, we got to tint those windows. This was after our main conversation. We have some really awesome clients that offset the sub par ones.

Binghamton was once a decent place to live.....Not much left for decent jobs plus we are being over taxed, over governed, and over regulated to death..
It won't be long before I join the parade of people leaving NY..
