Which window tint %?

Which looks best to the rear OEM privacy glass?

Have an appointment in 3 hours, need to decide quickly!

20 or 27%?

I think the reason they have 31 flavors of ice cream is because everyone is different so what you think looks best may not be what I think looks best. With that said I would want to err on the side of dark so if I wasn't sure I would go with the darker option...if it were me.

I went with 20% on my last 5 vehicles (all Fords) and all matched the rear tint pretty well.

I like 5% on everything except what I want to check mirrors through, there it's 20%. But then again, I live in Texas. The sun seems to spawn more suns here...

Ended up with 27%, which is darkest legal in Colorado.

I'm happy!

35% is legal here but I went with 20% and don't regret it at all.

Your truck looks great now too.

20% Llumar is what my tint dude does when I tell him to match the front to the factory rear....Thats on all the Fords I've owned, a Jeep Wrangler JK, and a few German cars.

NC says 35% and that's what I put on mine. It's not as dark as the rear, but I like for LEOs to feel comfortable if/when they stop me.

Uncle LEO doesn't care much for window tint around these parts either..

Roll ALL your windows down, dome light on and keep hands on the wheel. Safest way.

I think that's because instead of showing respect for a thankless job, some folks feel it's the man just screwing with them not thinking they probably brought it on themselves.

i hear that.
for me, its just to easy to be nice and make them feel safe and most of the time drive off with either a warning, or no ticket at all.

anyways, im thinking about tinting mine soon. i think i would go 20% for the front doors, and 20% over the rear doors/back glass.
