Alarm system
I have an 08 f250 with alarm problems. If I use the power lock buttons on key fob or in truck my alarm goes nuts. So now I don't use it anymore just use key. I have read that these alarms have a tendency to fail. I'm wondering if anyone knows or thinks this may be the cause of my grief.

I don't remember reading where there has been a lot of failures with the anti-theft/Pats system on these late model superdutys.
Just sounds to me that yours may just need to be totally reset, and that means a trip to the dealer and some bucks.
I cannot find anything in my service manuals about troubleshooting the key fob end of the anti theft stuff, just the Pats.
Sorry I cannot help in that area.
Maybe someone else will chime in with something I am not aware of.
