Are you piping that to a tank? Make sure you have a safety valve on it.

I love the idea of on board air. Since I've had to build my frame I'll be using a fee of the tunes as an on board air tank.

Would love to see more. Is that a stock A/C compressor? Is it internally oiled?

You have to plug this hole once you get the compressor apart till it looks like the other picture otherwise it will lubricate everything the compressed air goes to

Be careful doing that - you'll want to put a dessicant dryer inline first, or else be sure the inside of the frame is really well painted & protected against corrosion. When you compress the air, liquid water will condense out, and having liquid water sitting around inside your frame rusting things could cause problems for you down the road.

From what I can tell you need a way to get oil and water out of the air even with that hole plugged you get a bit of oil loss into the air

Definitely, I'm also thinking about using on of the other types of compressors. However since the other types get lubrication through the refrigerant, I'll run a lubricator before the inlet and an air oil separator on the discharge along with a desiccant dryer. But you're absolutely right water in the frame would be a no go, and as humid as it is down here in Houston I'd be putting plenty of water in the system.

Cool. With your fabrication skills, I have no doubt you'll do it right, just wanted to be sure you'd thought of it.
