2004 f250 and theirs two things wrong with it that I can't figure out.
1. My whole truck starts to shake when I'm going past 50 on a highway and it also thumps up and down when I hook a hard right as well.
2. Everytime I shift into gear I hear a loud clunk below the truck in the under carriage and I know it has something to do with the tranny but not too familiar with it.
Sounds like you have some u-joints that are toast. And possibly your carrier bearing for the rear shaft as well. The trans in our trucks are pretty stout. If you crawl under and rotate the shafts by hand you should be able to see a worn out joint loosely moving as you rotate back and forth.
Thanks for the reply and yeah I'm gunna check em out because the whole front end is shaking pretty bad also I just changed the carrier bearing about a month ago so I don't know how long it could last
