04 f350 loose injector

I had the number 4 injector come loose a few days ago the truck started missing and then died. i tried to start it it was hydra locked. I had no idea what was wrong with it i almost cried like a baby . So i called a friend that knows alot more about these trucks than i do he said if your coolant level is good then its probably an injector gone bad he said to pull the glow plugs and bump the engine over and you will find the bad one he was right number 4 . pulled the valve cover and sure enough it was loose. Replaced it along with new glow plugs and harness. Cranked it over for about 20 seconds it fired right up smoked ALOT for about 10 miles but ran good. its been a few days now and all seems good. I like this truck better than any other ive ever owned but man it worries me some times.

If you come up with sub optimal pressure for the fuel
you will want to get a blue spring update pressure regulator installed.

Not a hard job. Just search for Blue Spring.
