Looks like a very restorable truck but with abuse like that, not for long, shame I'd say.

The real question is if I found it, hooked up to it and yanked it free from catvity, would it be stealing if I left proper planters?

I can almost hear that poor truck talking to itself.... In a grumbly voice... Day 1 of my captivity. My captors painted my door handles and britches with some aerosol device....Day 2 of my captivity my captors rolled me out to the yard and stripped me of manhood. They filled my a** with fragrant flowers. I will extract revenge....I will escape.

The horror! The horror!

Is it registered and insured? It looks visible from the road, if not this may violate city ordinance. Perhaps a hot rod friendly officer or code **** could be useful here.

Tedster-- Yes, it's visible from the road, and a pretty busy one too--just on the edge of a small town--but not my town. I discovered this Ford flower planter while on vacation.

Dont worry boys. It was the only way he could get her to buy the truck. The poison is starting to take effect and after she dies he can rip all them posies out and have insurance money to fix her up.
