What would this be?

Sorry, I am not familiar with the 04 and newer trucks. Found one that had this as part of the description:
"check engene light came on 2 days ago with intermittent shaking."

Any guesses as to what this would be? Bad plug? Phasers? Tranny?
I am at work and can't really spend much time researching, so once again, I am cheating and asking you all for help...

THANKS!

The cheapest cause would be a batch of 'wet' gas. Do you use Ethanol-blended fuel? If that station has ground or surface water getting into the tanks, it will go into solution with the fuel. This is actually a good thing with small amounts of moisture that may accumulate in your vehicles gas tank since the water is removed as the gas is used, but with larger amounts of water in it, you can get performance issues. The other thing is, the moisture being in solution causes corrosion issues in the fuel system. Another effect of excess moisture in the fuel is freezing in the winter, stopping fuel flow. I use Sta-Bil for Ethanol Fuels in my vehicles. No problems over about ten years in several different vehicles. No fuel system maintenance required at all, and no frozen fuel. However, if you pick up a large amount of water in contaminated fuel, even using an additive may not prevent problems.

Your problem could be a bad 'coil-on-plug', a bad plug or plug wire, or even a loose spark plug. And there are many more possibilities.
