Diesel is all over the map here in the California Central Valley. Most truck stops are in the $2.70-2.90 range, but at small independent stations I've seen $2.80 all the way up to $3.70!
For some reason the gas crunch hasn't hit our area. Costco was still down around $3.30 for regulator.
Still cheaper to travel in my truck vs the wife's minivan.

California is in a special situation because of the additive package in their special gas being in short supply. That's why their gas is higher. Not sure about diesel but maybe the same kind of thing.
