Anyone ever use colorbond lvp, or something like it?

Just picked up a pretty decent "new" dashpad at the local pick n pull. If I had to guess I would say the truck was kept under a cover most of its life as the pad is hardly cracked at all.
The only problem I have is that it is green, and my truck is blue. I've heard some good things about some of these interior paints, but I would like to hear how the stuff works firsthand. Incidentally if anyone has a blue one and needs a green one I imagine we could work something out....

I've used interior "vinyl dye" paints on both vinyl arm rests and a plastic center console in the '84 Mustang I used to have. It worked great on both the hard and soft surfaces, and was pretty durable on low-wear pieces like the center console. On high-wear surfaces like the the arm rests, it tended to wear off a bit and need refreshing after a year or two. The dash pad isn't really high-wear, so I'd think it would be great there.

However, from what I've seen around here, it's worth pointing out that green interior pieces in good condition are pretty rare and in high demand from those with green trucks, since they're not reproduced. Not sure on the dash pad specifically, bit it might be worth seeing what the going rate is and keeping your eyes out for one of another color to paint over if this one's worth more to someone else than it is to you.

I don't know what classifies as "good condition" around here, but in my neck of the woods this is pretty decent.

I haven't really washed it yet so it is still dirty. If its good enough that you think someone will want it, I'll go ahead and post an add in the classifieds.

The only other thing interior wise that was any good on that truck were the sun visors. The headliner wasn't bad in my opinion.

I have no idea really - have just seen a lot of posts around here where people are looking for sources for green interior parts and there aren't any reproduced ones. Just figured it was worth mentioning to you, so you could decide whether to check on what the demand might be; I don't know the answer.
