Clutch setup

Installed clutch last night c/w linkage and throw out bearing. I am not sure how much tension should be on the clutch fork/throwout bearing at rest. Without any adjustment there is a small amount of pressure on the clutch and all seems OK. Center force dual friction and a NP435. Any guidlines ?

There should not be any pressure on the pressure plate fingers at all, you should have 1"-2" of free play at the pedal before it contacts the fingers on the pressure plate. If the T/O bearing is left in contact at all times it will cause it to fail in short order and could cause clutch slippage.

Looks like general guideline are approx 1/16 inch between throwout bearing and clutch.
I will see where the freeplay ends up.
