Trying to replace just the driver's side door latch on an 87 F350 but can not figure out how to get the rods out of the plastic clips. Any help would be appreciated!
They clam shell around the rod. If you feel around the plastic clip, you should feel a little finger catch that should let it open.
I do recall seeing some that were more of a C that the rod is pressed into. You simply pop the rod out of it. But I suspect you should have figured that style out.

Anyone else have some input?
Yup, the rod fits in on the 90 degree bend, and then the clip swivels around and clips back onto the rod.
I beleive you can get replacements in the "Help!"/Motormite/Dorman stuff..
