NEED HELP
So my dad bought a 6 inch lift from rough country and we leave for Pismo on Monday or so we hope, anyway the lift is completely installed and then we realize that it has a lean on the lift side. We look at the numbers on the springs and they are different one of the springs is for an 8 inch kit and the other is for a 6. Called rough country and they told us to eat one basically. So I am looking for anyone in the Fresno region or even as far south as Bakersfield or north it doesnt matter with a 6 inch leaf, we will trade the 8 inch one if you prefer or pay cash.. We are desperate and need help. You guys would not believe the trouble we have had with this lift. It's been almost two weeks of putting parts on and realizing we need different ones or the shocks dont fit or the guy we bought the truck from in 2005 put on 4 inch hangers in the front so then we had to find stock hangers because we were shot up to about 10 inches in lift. As bigredtruckmi said - Have you tried Betts Springs right there in Fresno? They might be able to make you the spring you need. You'll probably have to take off the 6" lift spring so they have an exact pattern to go by.
