Will an 8" 99-04 super duty spring give me a true eight inches of lift in my 76' F250? Or can I go with a six inch lift spring which I have already to level my ride. I have no choice the front has to rise the eight inches.
\i know this has been beat to death and I know the application and all the other info I need too. Just looking to see what others had found. Is the lift gained the amount advertised?
The '99-'04 SD 8" lift springs actual lift height is a couple inches shy of reality for a highboy i.e. 8" superduty springs equate to more like 5-6" of lift on a highboy.
I have 4" procomp superduty springs in my '76 and it lifted a true 4 inches. along with longer shackles and a custom drop bracket i run 39.5s no problem.
