Angry '96 E150 Rear Passenger Door Won't Open

I have a '96 E150. I bought door handle cable ends from eBay and successfully replaced the old ones without a hitch except I can't seem to open the rear passenger door I uninstalled the plate door handle assembly, but it's not helping. I tugged on the latch cable which I think is broken.

Is there any way I can open the door?

Thanks in advance

You need to tug on the cable attached to the door latch in order for it to release and the door open. Since you've already replaced the cable ends I'm assuming you can find and follow the cable to the latch?

If the cable cannot be used to release the latch you'll have to find a way to actuate and release the latch. Since you can remove the license holder and handle assembly this should be fairly simple. Seeing what you're doing helps immensely, poking your head into the license holder opening in the door shell should also be fairly easy.

If this doesn't help post again and perhaps I have some photos I'll add that might be helpful.

I think you are asking about the passenger side door, rear of the pair. door number 3 on the R side of the van. if so, I have owned a few of these and the hinges always seem to be seized up, freed them up on my 2003 driver but it did not last long and they seized again, now I just leave it closed.

are you sure your hinges are not seized? and the latch is working fine?
