M5R2 SHIFT FORK ISSUES
Howdy All, I'm new here although not so new to the dirty end of a wrench so bear with me. I recently took on a rebuild for a M5R2 Anyways, from a 1994 F150 4x4 5.8 Lt. This truck has been thru the mill a few times!! But she's (the owner) in love with it and ran fine fine til her son got hold of it for 2 months and now it's in my yard with a "blown tranny". Now the son and his buddies were'nt to swift when they took the lid off and APART!!, as well as the clusters, clutches, etc, etc,. So now i have this all back together with new bearings, clutches, collars etc., and i find that shift fork shafts are missing the springs, steel *****, and the pellet spacers or more simply the detent parts for the shift shafts are mostly missing. So if any one has a schematic of the correct way these are installed and in which way they go in (as i have some) it would be greatly appreciated!!!
