I bought a 94 F150 2wd and the previous owner had placed what looks like a 3 inch body lift on as well as placing 3 inch blocks on the rear axle and larger coils in the front. The front wasn't done right, you could tell because the wheels tilted out at the top a little. I looked and didn't see any modifications other than the Fabtech 20 inch tall springs, so I went to the salvage yard and picked up the correct 16 inch tall springs. When I swapped them out the front end sank to the point of looking like a low rider and the wheels tilted in a lot. I haven't quite figured out what is missing from the suspension, maybe a spacer on the bottom? Here is a picture of the driverside wheel well with the Fabtech spring. Can anyone tell me why the stock springs ride too low? The I-beams do not appear to have been leveled.
