Upper Bushing for Steering

Anyone know where I can get the correct upper bushing for my 1945 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. I was sent the wrong one and didn't realize it until I installed it. Now I get the great opportunity of trying to figure out how to get it out!

Thanks for any help!

Steering Wheel to Column Fit

So I'm trying to fit my steering wheel to the column.

I bought an upper bushing, rubber with metal internal. It went in nicely, but once it was in, the steering wheel wouldn't go on far enough. Wondering if I put the bushing in the right spot, or maybe the steering wheel isn't the right one?

Two simple questions. Since I bought the truck with spare parts, is the steering wheel the correct one for the truck?

Where does the bushing go? I tapped it straight down onto the column from the top.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
