Vent Temp

Hey. I have an 03 Excursion that I have never been completely impressed with the A/C Vent temp. I serviced it (again) to make sure it was still full and it was. I started checking vent temps and found that after driving for about 30 minutes with an ambient of about 70 my vent temp was 45*. For giggles I replaced the orifice tube (found metal shavings) and serviced. Pressures at idle were 30/160 ambient was 80*. Checked evap inlet and outlet temps and found them within 1* of each other. Checked condenser inlet and outlet temp and outlet was about 10* cooler than inlet. I am interpreting these things as my evap was flooded and the condenser was scrubbing the heat away. Correct? As I watched vent temp then it was about 43, dropping once to 39 then back up. I am guessing there is just too much interior air to get it really cold. Some cars will almost hurt your hand because they are blowing so cold. Anything I'm missing something, is my compressor closer to the bone yard than I think or is that the best I can get?

Thanks
