Testing Glow Plugs

So how do we test the glow plugs using a test light?
1984 F350, 6.9L Diesel

testing glow plugs

Hook the test lamp clip to battery positive post . When you touch the tip of the glow plug it should light up bright . If test lamp doesn't light . The glow plug is bad .
