2005 Ford Escape Driver Side Brakelight

The driver side brake light doesnt come on when you apply the breaks but the light comes on when you turn them on. Any suggestions?

Is it the same bulb or two different bulbs?

IF the same bulb, the second filament is burned out. Replace the bulb.

IF two bulbs, replace the bulb in question.

Yup, single bulb with dual filaments and the break filament is out. Replace with new bulb.
