LED bulb "indexing"
I put the cree led bulbs in my 2012 superduty. The passenger bulb puts out awesome light and delivers it in the right spot. I have no idea where the drivers side light is going? Its dark in front of the truck and against a wall they both look the same. I do see that the inside of the 2 light housings have different parts of them lit up inside? I tried turning the bulb in the drivers side so that it is oriented the same as the passenger bulb. I cant get it to match but it looks like I can remove the back of the bulb and turn it so that it sits right. Has anybody done this? Has anybody else even noticed this?

Are you talking about headlights?
The bulbs are probably lighting of either LEFT/LEFT RIGHT/RIGHT LEFT/RIGHT or RIGHT/LEFT.
You will have to play with bulb orientation gets you the best results. But first.
Aim your headlamps.

Yes these are headlights. I have tried every combination available and cant get the driver side bulb to sit the same as the passenger side bulb. This is why I am going to take the bulb apart to orient it. The lights were perfectly aligned with the halogen bulbs and both shine on the wall in the same spot. When I back up from the wall the drivers side light disappears!

I finally got them dialed in. It took a lots of trying different combination. I finally swapped the bulbs side for side and got them right. This is a worthy upgrade for the $150 I spent. Light output is about double from stock halogens.
