MAX AC blows defrost.

I have read a bit on this issue but i found this hose not connected and can not find where it would be, might be my problem.

Black hose at the bottom

loss of vacuum in the AC controls makes the air doors default to the defrost position. Plug the hose, or connect to a vacuum source to see if that fixes your problem. Don't know what motor or year truck you have.... hose does not look familiar.
