100 Mile MPG Challenge...
What can your truck do?
I'll start:
100 miles at 23.4 MPG, mostly highway with a lot of rolling hills. Came to a complete stop four or five times going through town at traffic lights. 2015 FX4 King Ranch, SRW, long bed, crew cab. Used cruise control the first 80-ish miles. I think I could have done a bit better if I hadn't used the cruise at all.
As a side note I noticed earlier today that my hubs were locked from the factory... unlocked them before this run and definitely picked up a bit of extra mileage.
And before anyone calls it a lie-o-meter, the computer is scary accurate. I also hand calculate and fill the tank up to the filler neck. The amount of gallons put in by the pump is almost always the exact amount the computer says it used.

I was kind of wondering more about the gear ratio of the rear end myself. Maybe a hybrid 2:15 or such?
Seriously if you can get that MPG, that truck is a keeper. Don't tell too many people about it, if Ford finds out they will reprogram your computer and correct it back down to the more common 14 MPG that I see everyday.

My '15 currently has approx. 13,000 mi., and I make a roughly 300 mi. round trip several times a week and I am seeing between 18.5 and 20 mpg, including regens. I have 3.31 rear end along with factory 18" wheels and for the most part its 70 mph with the only changes in elevation are overpasses.
I haul up to 4,000 lbs. and 4 guys in the cab. I have been impressed so far as these numbers are slightly better than my 6.0 did running the same route/speed. I originally thought regens were going to kill economy as it usually takes 20-25 mi. to complete. I have managed a couple of runs without a regen and they were over 21 mpg, but I am aware these were exceptions and not the norm.

When my truck was new in 2010, I was able to get it to 22.5 according to my notes. The picture was at 22.1. This trip was 104 miles. Speeds were between 50 - 60 MPH once on the highway. In order to get this, I accelerated slowly from each stop, which isn't my normal driving style. This was a north/south round trip with about 15 miles worth of city traffic. This was with the OEM 18" ContiTrac tires and 3.31 gears.
This was five days prior to the dealer flashing my truck with the new 10B17 400 HP factory tune so it was the 387 HP tune if I remember correctly.
With the aggressive Toyo OpenCountry AT2's and many computer flashes later, I have never been close to this number since as my new average is 12 MPG.
