Exhaust suggestions
2008 6.4 Had my truck taking in because ive been having issues with it and found I have a crack or hole in my exhaust. Im looking to get a new one with delete chip. Any suggestions id like my truck to be louder then it is now which isnt very loud. and any other suggestions for upgrades because my truck is all stock except rhe air filter

I have just the delete done in mine and left the stock muffler and tailpipe in place. That's as noisy as I want it. But then, if I had to do it over, I think I would get a down pipe back 4" exhaust with flow through muffler and a 5" chrome tip.
These trucks don't have that insane turbo whistle, nor a harsh growl in the exhaust even without a muffler though.

I have stock exhaust, just a delete pipe, and it sounds like a jet or hair drier at idle. I cant hear it inside the cab at all. As I passed another truck I could hear it a little bit, but if I wasnt listening for it, I would have missed it. Even when you get on it there isnt a growl. Just not the nature of these engines.
