03 f350 7.3L. Have no power for the trailer running lights at the connector end. No power when the end is split and no power at the next connector above the spare tire. I have power at the fuse (38) and the fuse is good. What is the best connection to check next? Is there a common culprit that might cause this problem somewhere? I know 3 more connectors are in the frame by the fuel tank but pretty much lose track of which one might have the wire for the trailer. Thanks in advance.
All the lights on the truck are working fine. Trailer running lights uses it's own fuse which has power at the panel.
I have tapped into the trailer alone and the running lights are working on it . The pin connector on the truck was taken apart while trying to figure it out. The running light pin was loose so a new head was put on. Still have power from the truck for the stop/turn and brake control but power for the running lights isn't making it to the back of the truck. Just trying to eliminate everything at the back and the front of the wiring before searching/playing with wires along the frame. Thanks
That happened on my "02 E-350 and only the running lights weren't working.
Turned out to be a bad connection at my old auxiliary battery.
I ended up getting a new battery and cleaned the cables.
