77 ford lowering help!!

I am lowering my truck, its a 63 ford on a 77 frame and engine, and I am trying to lower it by cutting the coil springs up front and just putting the axle on top of the spring in the back, I need to know if all I do is cut the coil springs up front? is that all I do, or is there another thing? it has twin "i" beam suspension. thanks

Please use the search function for more information.

There is more to it than cutting some coils off of your springs in front with the Twin Idiot Beam suspension.

A simple "Okay Thanks" would have sufficed !

I went to the search feature typed in Lowering as per Eric's suggestion and this came up.

Okay. go to the search feature like I did and type in
the word "Lowering" ......in the title bar......for this forum for the longest time back to now.
