I thought I would share what an awesome towing machine the 2015 F350 super duty is. Over the 4th of July weekend, the bride her cousin and I went camping in mammoth lakes, Ca. If anyone knows Hwy 395 north of Bishop, they know there is a steep 8% grade for about 8 miles. We were full of water 104 gallons in the 5ver, food for 4 days, clothes, camping equipment, Honda 3000 generator in the truck, ice chests = 2 and 3 in the cab. I figured we were about 14750-15200 in weight. Definitely near the max weight of the truck. She locked herself in 4th gear at 60 mph and never burped all the way up the grade. My old 2012 Ram 3500 would down shift and up shift all the way up the same grade pulling the same load.

YEP, been there done that and I was in my '11 F 350 dually with my camper in the bed of the truck @6000 lbs fully loaded...does not perform on par with my '15 F 350 but sure as heck does a fine job by any standard. Beautiful country out there.

No Air Bags, believe it or not she only drops to the overload springs about 1.25" and sits level.

Thanks for responding to my question Robert.

That's pretty impressive given the size of the 5ver. I hope mine does as well when we make the move to a 5ver.
