keyless entry remote doesn't work

Hello, hopefully someone can help out there. I have a 2010 Explorer and a few days ago the remote stopped working all of the sudden. It will not lock, unlock, open the rear glass or panic button. However the power locks inside the vehicle still work if I use the door button. I am not aware of anything else that is not working. The first thing I did was change the battery in the remote and it still will not work. I tested the remote at Auto Zone and it showed that it was working (or at least it was transmitting a frequency). I then checked fuses in the vehicle and could not find a bad fuse. I then tried to reprogram the remote to the vehicle and the process all seemed to work fine but when I tired the remote after exiting the programming mode it still will not work. I retried it several times to be sure I was doing it right and still nothing. During the reprogramming when I push a button on the remote after the 8 turns of the key the doors locked and unlocked signalling that the remote was programmed, but as I said after exiting the vehicle still does not respond to the remote.
Any Ideas???
