So, just as I feared. No clear cut winner.

It looks as if the Duraflaps would be the most effective, but not necessarily the best looking. They look decent on deker9's, 17 Oaks's and kper05's trucks, but are noticeable alright. My need would be only occasional muddy roads. I don't have much mud here on the "ranch". On muddy roads a lot of mud gets in around the edge of the front doors. It is not TOO hard to clean out, but it adds to the work of cleanup. I had rather not have it happen. I have this thing about my truck being clean. (Crystal, are you looking).
I will probably go with the Huskey as I am happy with their floor mats.
I am NOT looking for an "installation challenge" in this south GA weather right now with heat advisories abounding.
I was not long ago able to deal with the heat, but those days are gone. I can't even see anything anyway with my eyes filled with sweat. On the plus side however I don't have to deal with snow and slush except on rare winter trips.
I was able to sweat it out yesterday AM when I painstakingly washed my truck, with special attention to the wheels and tires. I was very happy with it when I drove 45 miles to an appointment.
It rained most of the way home!
I might get a job in the drought stricken areas just washing my truck, guaranteed to make it rain.

Mike you better go with Duraflaps. I have lived in red dirt Ga, twice in fact.
Duraflaps have grooved and ridged flaps, which means when you drive the rain/water hits them and is directed down rather than off to the side, clever of them to design the flaps that way. They are a quality product...

The DuraFlap mud flaps can be ordered with or without the stainless steel on the bottom. If you want your truck dressed up use the stainless, if not, go with just the flaps. It save you money, and the mud flaps just blend into the black tires beyond. They fit great, and hang far enough to really protect your truck. Or you can get them custom made shorter for free if you let them know your member ID. The rear pair even goes all the way up to the top of your fender well to keep the mud from getting into the bumper area where it can create even more rust.

I have very real gators in my pond here in GA.
Seriously though I appreciate your thoughts. I had never heard of that brand but they look to be very serious mud flaps for very serious weather. I will never encounter the harsh weather conditions you do down here in GA. I love Canada in 3 of the 4 seasons but doubt I could survive the winters.
Your post does give me food for though as to future vacation spots.

On the heat thing, it is painful outside. Expecting 100 this weekend plus all of the humidity. Currently a thunderstorm just rolled through and cooled it down to 87 but also has left uprooted trees and power outages so... not everything can be perfect!

Installed a set of Duraflap Mud Flaps today.
Front Install [Model FF 2 11]
Rear Install [Model FF 2XL 11]
Install went pretty easy. Removing the and reinstalling the rear support bracket was a little more difficult than I expected. Two rear flaps don't quite line up evenly on both sides, not quite sure why. Overall satisfied with the look and quality of the product.
Truck is a 2015 F-250 CC SB Diesel 4x4 with 20" wheels

No problems at all with Husky splash guards. They fit and look great. They help considerably I would recommend them. Makes washing truck a bit easier. I use tire black on them to keep them looking good.
