no start
99 sd 5.4 sc lb i just put a new engine out of a 02. it started just fine at first. now it wont start at all. i have no cel. no codes. when i first started it it ran rich with no exhaust system. after i put the exhaust on it came up to temp then stalled, and wont start at all. if i hold the pedal down it seems like it wants to start but nothing. i changed the temp sensor. I'm thinking a cam sensor or a relay.?fuel pressure at the rail holds at 40 psi. pulled a cop and had spark. any ideas?

new iac it starts up but after i shut it down its hard to start. still have to hold the pedal down and wont idle. and the oil pressure doesn't come up until i hit about2k rpm. i also have gas in the oil.

You have a crack in the intake manifold and some how fuel is getting in the oil. Not sure how this is happening but that is the only place it could come from. Change the oil before you start the motor again or you will have bigger problems. Gas will wash the cylinder walls and the rings will scar the cylinders.

that's what i was thinking or bad rings. good thing i have another intake..lol
